Good News, Bad News

The good news:  I have been busy meeting my self-imposed deadline of November 1 to mail my interfaith marriage book proposal to an interested acquisitions editor.

The bad news: I haven’t met my once-per-week blogging schedule. Most of my creative energy in October has been poured into this proposal, which I hope/pray will be successful.

Apologies, dear reader. Thank you for your loyalty in spite of my sporadic posting.

So, for today, I’d like to link to a recent post I wrote on Lindsay Apple, my childhood friend who died on October 25, 2010. This post serves as a reminder to all of us that life is precious and difficult–but not impossible. I only wish I could have been there to tell Lindsay that. We miss you, Lin.
